About OnLine Appointment

Since 1951, IOM has been the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration. Pre-migration health activities are one of the longest-standing components of IOM's work in migration, and are provided on behalf of major destination country partners, such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, for individuals applying for various categories of visa.
As part of your visa application process, you may be requested by your chosen destination country to undergo a migration health assessment. If IOM is listed as a panel provider in your country of origin, you can elect to receive your migration health assessment at an IOM Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC).
IOM's MHACs offer migration health assessments that are accurate and reliable, are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and are person-centred, accessible and equitable.
IOM migration health assessments ensure that you are fit to travel abroad, and that, if it is needed, you receive treatment for certain conditions of importance for your own health, as well as the health of those around you before departure. For refugees and other humanitarian entrants, the results of migration health assessments are used to arrange needed health care after arrival. As part of its pre-migration health activities, IOM's MHACs also provide preventative care, such as counseling, screening and health education; vaccinations against major preventable diseases may also be provided, if required or encouraged by your destination country. Vaccines are safe, beneficial and cost-effective; currently, they prevent 2-3 million deaths worldwide each year.
